Madam Tan It Neo (Bukit Brown)

Tan It Neo is the wife of the late Mr. Song Kee Lian. Madam Tan It Neo passed away due to dysentry at age 54 at 13 Yan Kit Road on 10 May 1925.

In 23 November 1905, it was mentioned that local steamship by the name of "Taiping" was bought by Towkay Song Kee Lian of Market Street for $3,600 by public auction at Messrs. Coghlan & Co. Prior to 1883, Song Kee Lian, Song Kee Chuan and Song Kee Jew together with Tan Keng Yew ran a Ship Chandlers business under the chop of "Kim Yap Seng" at No. 17 and 18 Boat Quay before it was dissolved by mutual consent. 

Song Kee Lian passed away on 15 March 1906 at "Romulus", No. 16 Thomson Road. From the various auctions that took place after his death. From Raymond's blog, the name of his children are;
Sons: Song Chin Eng, Song Chin Joo, Song Chin Huat 
Daughter: Song Guat Neo
