It is from his residence of No 42 Neil Road (later renumbered as No. 75 Neil Road) i know that Mrs. Seow Goh Neo (Mrs. Tan Sin How) is her daughter. In fact, his son-in-law, Tan Sin How passed away on 24 February 1926 at the very same house, 42 Neil Road.

Mr. Seow Eng Tin was a Manager and in the Board of Directors of the Chinese Commercial Bank, Limited and owned land in Johore. Mr. Seow Eng Tin passed away at the age of 55 on 17 October 1929. He leaves behind a widow, two sons, Messrs. Seow Tiong Teck and Seow Tiong Soo, one daughter, Mrs. Koh Kong Guan, one grandson and 2 granddaughters.
Mrs. Seow Eng Tin, nee Madame Tan Keng Neo, died at her residence. No. 75, Neil Road, Singapore at the age od 56 on 11 September 1935. Mrs. Scow leaves behind two sons, Messrs. Seow Tiong Teck and Seow Tiong Soo (both of the Universal Motor Accessory Co.) and one daughter, Mrs. Koh Kong Guan, 1 son-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law and 4 grandchildren.
In 21 December 1934, Madam Tan Keng Neo put out a advertisement removing his son, Seow Tiong Teck from being able to act on her behalf on his belated father's estate. Madam Tan Keng Neo was granted probate and executioner of her late husband's estate on February 21, 1930. Seow Tiong Teck passed away at the age of 75 on 21 August 1976. In an auction notice dated April and August 1933, Seow Eng Tin had land in No. 15, 16. Jalan Station in Kluang, Johore with each at 1,800 sq ft as well as 42 acres of land in Johore Bahru which are planted with mostly rubber trees. This indicates that Mr. Seow Eng Tin had a number of properties both in Singapore and Malaya.

Mrs. Tan Sin How nee Madam Seow Goh Neo passed away at the age of 67 on 23 May 1945 at her residence, No. 25 Chapel Road. She leaves behind 2 sons, Tan Swee Hee and Tan Chiang Hin, 1 daughter-in-law,Mrs. Tan Swee Hee, 1 daughter, Lily Tan (on the tomb, Tan Lee Neo), 1 prospective son-in-law, Lim Peng Swee and one grand-daughter, Alice Tan. Tan Sin How passed away at the age of 50 on 24 February 1926 at No. 42 Neil Road. He leaves behind a widow (2 sons; Mr. Tan Swee Hee and Tan Charlie).
Nederlandsche Handel Maatschappij N.V. (Netherlands Trading Society)
Netherlands Trading Society was founded by King William I by Royal Decree in 1824 to curb the decline of trading especially in the Far East after the East India Company cease to exist. The Singapore branch of Netherlands Trading Society was established in 1857. Initially more of a trading enterprise, it move to banking but the name somehow continue to be use as such. I don't have much information for now about the building pre-1940's but post 1940's the five-storey bank building at the junction of Cecil Street and D'Almedia Street took 18 months to build and cost $500,000. It was built by Messrs. Swan & McLaren.

Before becoming Compradore for NTS, Seow worked in the Compradore's department of HSBC from 1886 to 1891.
