There is an obituary notice which gives more details; Mr. Ong Chwee Kiat passed away at age of 38 at his residence, No. 94 Onan Road on Saturday at 7 pm, 30 May 1931, leaving behind his wife, 3 sons and 3 daughters. The funeral took place on 1 June 1931.
