Mrs. Yeo Cheow Wai nee Chia Teck Neo alias Chia Bee Neo passed away on 18 April 1923. Mrs. Yeo Cheow Wai, the mother of Yeo Chiang Swee, Yeo Chiang, Yeo Chiang Wah, Yeo Chiang Wee, Yeo Chiang Lim, Yeo Chiang Beng and Miss Yeo Suat Neo. The cortege left from No. 60 Emerald Hill Road to Bukit Brown on 22 April 1923. 

In another article, it was announced that the death occurred at 60 Emerald Hill Road on 18 April of Mrs. Yeo Chew Wai, age 51. She leaves a widower, 6 sons - the eldest of whom is Mr. Yeo Chiang Swee, Manager of the Timber and Produce. Co.

Yeo Cheow Wai passed away at the age of 84 at his residence 153-A Charlton Lane on 18 April `954 leaving behind 

3 sons: Yeo Chiang Swee, Chia Chiang Soon, Yeo Chiang Lim

1 daughter: Yeo Swat Choo

3 daughters-in-law, 26 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.

He was buried in Bidadari.

Yeo Cheow Wai was one trustee of the Hiap Gun Sun (Heap Guan San ) burial ground of members of the Seh Yeo at Upper Telok Blangah.

Mr. Yeo Chiang Swee, Manager of the Timber and Produce. Co. Could this be the same Yeo Chiang Swee that married Miss Wee Swee Neo (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wee Theam Seng). There was mentioned of Yeo Chiang Swee associated with the Seng Hua Sawmill Co./ Seng Hwa Sawmills. Co. as well. From report, may have passed away in October 1955.

Yeo Chiang Beng was born on 21 October 1905 and passed away on 13 March 1927.
