Choo Tian Hock passed away at the age of 42 at his residence, No. 15 Rowell Road on 19 December 1931. He leaves behind 2 wives, 4 sons, 3 daughters and many nephews (the eldest being Lee Leng Chua). He was a Storekeeper, Singapore Municipality. Choo Tian Hock was buried in Bukit Brown.

The second tomb was reserved for Madam Tan Siew Noy. There is however no date of death indicated and therefore I am not able to ascertain for sure whether she is buried there.

Mrs. Choo Ah See (nee Low Tin Neo) passed away at the age of 80 on 14 December 1929. In the newspaper article, she is mentioned as the mother of Mr. Choo Tian Hock, Storekeeper, Municipal Store, River Valley Road. Madam Low Tin Neo is survived by 1 son, 1 son-in-law, 1 daughter, 9 grandson, 6 granddaughters. (Penang Papers please copy).
