Mr. Lim Khiam Soon alias Lim Soot was the proprietor of Chop Teng Chiang. He passed away at his residence No 707, North Bridge Road on 19 February 2604 (1944) at the age of 56. Lim Khiam Soon leaves behind 3 wives, 8 sons, 7 daughters, 1 daughter-in-law, 2 sons-in-law and 8 grandchildren. (One of Mr. Lim Khiam Soon's wife predeceased him, so in total he would have 4 wives).

Probate of the estate of the late Lim Khiam Soon was Madam Wee Kim Choo and Wee Peck Geok. In the same article, notice was given that the services of Quek Kheng Leng and Lim Kim Liang  as managers of Chop Teng Chiang was terminated on 19th February 1949.

Wife: Madam Oh Tiong Neo
The tomb of Mrs Lim Khiam Soon nee Madam Oh Tiong Neo was found in Bukit Brown. She passed away on 13th June 1924. She is listed as the mother of Mr. Lim Kim Liang, Lim Geok Choo, Lim Chee Chik and Lim Kim Poh.

Wife: Madam Wee Kim Choo
Madam Wee Kim Choo passed away on 10th January 1955 at the age of 50. In the newspaper article it states: Madam Wee Kim Choo, age 53 (wife of the late Mr. Lim Khiam Soon, of Chop Teng Chiang) passed away peacefully on 10 January 1955 at 34 Goodman Road, leaving behind 8 sons, 6 daughters, 5 son-in-law, 3 daughters-in-law, 15 grandchildren.

Madam Wee Kim Choo

The engagement of Mr. Lim Kim Liang (eldest son of the late Mr. Lim Khiam Soon and Mrs. Lim Khiam Soon) to Miss Lily Yeo Lee Neo (eldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Yeo Kim Teng) took place on 10 June 1947. 

Son(s): Lim Kim Hock and Lim Kim Siew

Lim Kim Siew passed away at the age of 9 on 6 January 1937. His older brother, Lim Kim Hock passed away at the age of 12 on 13 January 1937. Both are buried in Bukit Brown, Block 4 Division A. 

Daughter: Lim Geok Khoon

Lim Geok Khoon passed away on at the age of 5 on 6 October 1935. The cause of death that led to her untimely death was typhoid fever. She is buried in Bukit Brown, Block 3 Division A

Daughter: Lim Geok Hiok

Madam Lim Geok Hiok nee Mrs. Lee Beng Chuan passed away at the age 22 on 23rd June 1948. She is buried in Whitley Road Cemetery. 

Son: Lim Kim Chiang / Tony Lim Kim Chiang 

Lim Kim Chiang passed away at the age of 81 on 23 August 2023. He is survived by his family;
