Chan Kay Peet (Bukit Brown)

Chan Kay Peet passed away at the age of 60 on 5 July 1940. Beside his tomb is a damaged tomb likely of his spouse. (It's condition was so bad that we are unable to make out the name of the person buried there), but the names of Chan Kay Peet children are;

Son: Chan Kit Siang / Andrew Chan Kit Siang 
The marriage took place on October 1932 of Mr. Chan Kit Siang of the Chinese Protectorate Singapore,  (son of Mr. and Mrs. Chan Kay Peet) and Miss Seow Lian Neo ( daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seow Cheng Liew of the Chartered Bank, Singapore). Chan Kit Siang was an Assistant Translator of the Chinese Protectorate / Secretariat. Post war he was an Hon. Treasurer of the newly formed Singapore Chinese Interpreters and Translators Union (a union for the chinese interpreters and translators in the service of the Government of Singapore). He was also in the Merrilads Musical Association post war (1948) being one of its Vice-Presidents. 

Chan Kit Siang passed away on 9 February 1958. Madam Seow Lian Neo (wife of the late Mr. Chan Kit Siang) passed away at the age of 93 on 3 November 2003. She leaves behind;

Godson: Dr. Roger Yap
