Tham Chin Yean (Tham Cheng Yan ) passed away at the age of 47 on 27 December 1925. On his tomb, he is listed as the beloved father of Miss. Tham Joon Neo. The tomb has decorative tiles but one of the its shoulders was damaged.

On 19 March 1927, there was an article announcing the engagement of Miss Tham Joon Neo (only daughter of the late Mr. Tham Cheng Yan and Mrs. Tham Cheng Yan) to Mr. Lee Boon Hong (only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cheng Kim).
Variant name
Tham Chin Yean also refers to Tham Cheng Yean.
Location of tomb
Tham Chin Yean tomb is located in Block 1 Section G, plot 297. (The tomb is along the jungle trail, what we call "Joo Chiat" lane.
