Chan Cheng Kang was a pensioner of Sime Darby & Co., Ltd before passing away at the age of 74 on 27 June 1931 at his sons' residence (Shift Engineers quarters) Woodleigh Pumping Station, opposite Bidadari Cemtery., Upper Serangoon Road. Chan Cheng Kang leaves behind 5 sons; Chan Kok Chuan, Chan Kok Seng, Chan Kok Liang, Chan Kok Choo, Chan Kok Tuan 5 daughters-in-law, 4 daughters, 4 sons-in-law, Tan Eng Hoon, Tan Teng Leong, Tan Soo Whatt, Tan Hood Khee and 32 grandchildren.

The only thing i could find about Chan Kok Chuan was the article on his bankruptcy and when first and final dividend issued on 1936.
Daughter: Chan Wan Neo / Mrs. Tan Teng Leong
The engagement is announced of Mr. Tan Teng Leong eldest son of the late Mr. Tan Chin Seng and Clerk of The Asiatic Petroleum Co, (SS) Ltd, to Miss Chan Wan Neo (second daughter of Mr. Chan Cheng Kang). The married took place on 8 May 1922. Her brother-in-law, Tan Teng Wee died at the age of 28 and his buried in Bukit Brown.
