Madam Poh Guan Neo (Bukit Brown)

Mrs. Tan Tiang Boo nee Madam Poh Guan Neo passed away at 36 Meyer Road (opposite Katong Park) at the age of 63 on 5 July 1931. She leaves behind 2 sons, Tan Hock Moh and Tan Hock Chiang , 2 daughters; Mrs. Chan Tong Soon and Mrs. Tay Soo Teck and several grandchildren.

Tan Bian Chuan (eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Tan Hock Moh) passed away at his residence, the "Hinsdale", 36 Meyer Road on 2 October 1936. He is survived by his parents, widow, 1 brother and 3 sisters.  

Son: Tan Hock Chiang

The engagement is announced between Tan Bian Koon (eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Tan Hock Chiang) and Violet Yong (eldest daughter of Madam Kong Fung Yun and the late Mr. Yong Siak Yin of Kudat, Borneo).
