Lim Robert (1898-1929) passed away at the age of 32 at his residence No 4 Mohamed Sultan Road on 17 February 1929. He leaves behind;

The lead etching on the tomb reads:
Lim Tek Wee was for 36 years a clerical staff and rose up the ranks to be the Chief Clerk of the Straits Times Press before he passed away at the age of 52 at 16 Stanley Street on 22 March 1925. Lim Tek Wee is the son of the late Mr. Lim Kang Eng (general merchant of Singapore). He leaves a widow, 2 sons and a daughter. From his tomb, his widow is Ang Geok Hoon (born 20 February 1872 - 27 April 1947) and sons, Lim Roberts, Lim Albert and daughter, Lim Mary. His tomb also mentions the name of their daughter-in-law, Tan Chye Neo and grandson, Lim Frederick.

Lim Tek Wee was born in Singapore in 1872 and was educated at the Government Central School and later Anglo-Chinese School before entering the employment of the Straits Times in January 1889. Lim Tek Wee married the daughter of the late Mr. Ang Kim Tie ( a merchant and commission agent).
