Mr. Lim Siew Tiok (Lim Siew Teck) passed away at the age of 62 on 22 February 1945. Madam Soh Hong Suat passed away at the age of 59 on 21 August 1954.

Engagement notice was announced on 12 November 2603 (1943) of Mr. Lim Lian Cheng (eldest son of Mr. and Lim Siew Teck) to Miss Evelyn Tan ( second and youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tan Soon Keng). Two months later on 28 January 1944, the engagement was cancelled.
