Lee Chim Tee passed away at the age of 44 on 8 February 1929 after an illness of about a year at his residence, No. 2 Lorong 3, off Changi Road. He left behind a widow and 7 children. The headstone is entirely made of marble and in English with lead etching (you can spot the error made by the tomb mason in the letter "M" for his name). The headstone reminds me like the ones in the former Bidadari cemetery.
