A beautifully decorated Earth Deity (福神) example that can be found in Bukit Brown in Block 4 Division C is the one below where the earth deity is placed between 2 tombs and is decorated with lovely tiles are still radiant till today.
Looking at the basket of fruits, it was probably chosen because of its symbolism to Longevity, Fertility and Blessings of many children.
The fruit that is split opened and showing the seeds overflowing is likely to be Pomegranate which has become a symbol of fertility.
Peach in the basket probably symbolises longevity
Pear in this case is a homophony of its meaning which could mean to have children quickly
