The tomb of Madam Cheang Pui Chan is very unique. The name of her daughters stand out obviously. They are Moonlight Rosie Gold and Starlight Lilly Gold. So instead of using the surname Goh of her husband, Goh Wee Liam, the daughters used Gold.
The other interesting bit lies below the altar table where it mentions that Mrs. Goh Wee Liam nee Madam Cheang Pui Chan was;

Died on 21st day of March 1929
(11th Day of 2nd Moon, Bin Kok 18 Years)
Age 29 Years

Madam Wee Swan Neo nee Mrs. Goh Chew Swee passed away at the age of 57 on 17 April 1927. On her tomb the name of children are as follows:
Sons: Goh Wee Liam, Goh Wee Lee, Goh Yew Chye
Daughters: Goh Seok Ay, Goh Cheng Neo
Grandsons: Simpson Percy Gold, Laurence Robert Gold
Grand daughters: Moonlight Rosie Gold, Starlight Lilly Gold
From Goh to Gold
It is so interesting to see the surname of her children change from Goh to Gold. What transpired or changed that is something we might never know but its is amazing that such stories can surface from the etching's on the stone.
