Miss Seat Eng Neo passed away at the age of 30 on 9 November 1944. Listed on her tomb are the name of her children;
Sons: Tan Kiat Seong, Tan Kiat Hua, Tan Kiat Kim
Daughters: Tan Boh Choon, Tan Ah Bee
The marble tomb is interesting in a number of ways - the tomb mason obviously have not mastered the english language as death and november is spelt wrongly on her tomb. The second one is subjective as her title engraved is Miss while she has children. Is it because her husband passed on before her or they were separated ? I am not sure.
