Goh Tiong Lay passed away at the age of 60 on 29 December 2603 (1943) at his residence, No. 8 Boscombe Road (off Tanjong Katong Road) leaving behind his wife, and sister,
4 sons: Goh Kee San, Goh Choon Eng, Goh Choon Tian and Goh Choon Poh ,
1 daughter, 2 daughters-in-law and 9 grandchildren.
