When i have time, i revisit the Bukit Brown Documentation Website which documents tombs which are affected by the highway and no longer exist and reminisce on who they were and what were their stories, knowing that many remain undocumented despite efforts and in this case, i may not have the photo of this tomb. One of the tombs i revisited was the tomb of Madam Lim Cheng Neo.
Madam Lim Cheng Neo passed away on 10 May 1942 . She is the wife of Mr. Sim Ann Watt
Listed on her tomb are the name of her children;
Sons: Sim Beng Chee, Sim Beng Teck, Sim Beng Hoe, Sim Beng San, Sim Beng Hai
Listed on her tomb are the name of her children;
Sons: Sim Beng Chee, Sim Beng Teck, Sim Beng Hoe, Sim Beng San, Sim Beng Hai
Daughters: Sim Hock Neo, Sim Hong Neo, Sim Nya Chik, Sim Lak Neo, Sim Kim Choo, Sim Chit Neo
The names of her children matches the grandchildren of Mr. Sim Cheng Lian and and Madam Tan Ho Neo. In short, Madam Lim is the daughter-in law of Mr. Sim Cheng Lian.
