Tan Kim Kee passed away at the age of 68 on 14th May 1967. She is the wife of Mr. Tay Soo Kiat.

Tay Hean Tuan (only son of Tay Soo Kiat) married Miss Yeo Keng Neo (second daughter Mr and Mrs. Yeo Chiang Swee) on 23 March 1945. The wedding was solemnised at the Bethesda Church Bras Basah. Although this was during the Japanese occupation, the reception which was held at the Nan Meio Soo Restaurant was attended by hundreds of friends including officials of the Syonan Tokubetu-si. Yeo Chiang Swee (father of the bride ) further announced that in view of the current war situation and the need to eradicate extravagance and ostentation, he handed $30,000 to the Mayor to be used for relief work (the sum representing the cost of the dinner that would normally be given to friends of the couple).

The engagement is announced between Mr. Rolex Tan Choo Wee (4th son of the late Mr. Tan Yong Chiang and Madame Koh Tee Neo) and Miss Lily Tay Hye Chuah (3rd daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tay Soo Kiat) on 13th May 1940.
