Neo Ewe Kiang (Bukit Brown)

Neo Ewe Kiang (梁有強) marble tomb is in clear danger of being destroyed as a huge fig tree is slowly "swallowing" the entire tomb. In fact, the names of his children are no longer visible. Mr. Neo Ewe Kiang passed away on 24th December 1932 at the age of 56.

On the head of marble headstone of Neo Ewe Kiang tomb, what initially i thought was a pair of hockey sticks, was actually golf clubs ! How did i come to this deduction ? Well if you search and read up about Neo Ewe Kiang, you will find out that he was an avid golfer and participated in many local competitions as well other sports as well in his younger days.  The below article shows what was probably the last match he played in, the Shirazee Cup, where he competed against Ng Seng Choy

Location of tomb
Neo Ewe Kiang tomb is at Hill 3 Section C, plot 652A
