A Birdwatching Guide: Woodpeckers of Bukit Brown

Bukit Brown has its fair share of nature and beautiful trees. I got to discover Bukit Brown through one of Nature Society's Bird Tour. After the completion of the highway, i was not able to spot some of the birds i used to see in the past (e.g. Chestnut Malkoha and the Blue-crowned hanging parrot). I thought it will be good to share this article, starting with some of the  more common birds that you may be able to spot in Bukit Brown, starting with Woodpeckers. [Note: some of the photos i used for this article were taken from other locations. What i have done is to make reference to my older blog post of the birds and the bird list]. Below are some of the pictures of the woodpeckers that you may be able to spot in Bukit Brown. In my list are the Common Flameback, Laced Woodpecker and the Rufous Woodpecker. (Strangely enough i have yet to spot the Sunda Woodpecker here, but if i do, i will update this article)
