Baby Lim Nguan Lee (Bukit Brown)

The marble tomb of Baby Lim son of Lim Shi Zhong 50 days old. The burial registrar name for the baby boy is Lim Nguan Lee who died 1 month 14 days on 1 December 2603 (1943).

An interesting point that was shared to me was this tomb states "A Memorial in Tears During the Japanese Occupation". Fortunately such verses were not vetted or seen by the Japanese Military Police or "Kempeitai" has this could lead to trouble for the family who erected the tomb.

Location of tomb

Block 3 Section B, plot P 96. The tomb is located close by the cluster of family tombs of Tan Hock Ann, Madam Siew Lin Neo and Dr. Essel Tan.

Note: Special thanks to Raymond Goh for the translation and James Koh for the plot number location.
