Wee Teow Yong and Lim Gek Yan Neo (Bukit Brown)

Wee Teow Yong passed away at the age of 31 on 13 May 1931. Listed on his tomb are the name of his children;
Son: Wee Harry
Daughter: Wee Rosalind

The marble slab on their tomb is partially broken but fortunately i can make out the name of his children and the deceased, Wee Teow Yong. The name of his wife was missing from the marble slab and we could not find that piece. Clue from a newspaper article mentioned their daughter Rosalind Wee getting engaged and her mother's name is Madam Lim Gek Yan Neo. Cross referencing another record, i found a Madam Mabel Wee (widow of Wee Teow Yong) who passed away at the age of 50 leaving behind a daughter, Rosalind, son-in-law and 3 grandchildren. She was buried in Bukit Brown on 25 September 1954.  The burial record matches her tomb, Block 3 Section B, plot 398 is together with the tomb of Wee Teow Yong.

The engagement is announced between Mr. Ee Gek Hock (only son of Mr. and Mrs. Ee Yong Lee) and Miss Rosalind Wee (only daughter of the late Mr. Wee Teow Yong and Madam Lim Gek Yan Neo) in 22 February 1948.

Wee Teow Yong and Madam Lim Gek Yan Neo is buried in Block 3 Section B, plot 423 R and 398.

The tomb is located close by the cluster of family tombs of Tan Hock Ann, Madam Siew Lin Neo and Dr. Essel Tan .
