Mrs. Gan Yan Boon nee Lim Lian Cheng (sister of Mr. Lim Tee Seng of Borneo Co., Ltd) passed away at the age of 33 at her residence No. 48, Siang Lim Park on 16 June 1932.

Lim Tee Seng of the Borneo Company Limited, Singapore is the 4th son of Mr and Mrs. Lim Cheng Peng of Chop Swee Guan, Trengganu. In 11 May 1928, the engagement was announced of Mr. Lim Tee Seng the Borneo Company Limited (fourth son of Mrs. Lim Cheng Peng and the late Mr. Lim Cheng Peng of Chop Swee Guan, Trengganu) with Miss Ong Suat Eng (only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ong Quee Lat of Chop Chuan Hong, Singapore).
